Subscription ( fr. Abonnement from fr. Abonner - sign ) - an agreement under which one party (subscriber [1] ) has the right to use any property or the right to demand the provision of certain services from the other party periodically , during the term of the subscription agreement, either indefinitely.
Subscription agreement features
You can talk about a subscription in relation to:
- contracts for the provision of telephone services, for the supply of electricity , gas , warranty repairs and warranty, as well as after-sales service, etc.
- library fund use agreements (library and interlibrary loan );
- tickets for regular visits to theaters , concerts , museums or pools , fitness clubs , gyms, spas;
- credit line agreements, revolving letter of credit ;
A subscription can be both free (library subscription) and paid . The purchase price of the subject of the subscription agreement is called a subscription fee.
By its legal nature, a subscription combines elements of property or personal lease agreements with elements of a preliminary agreement. In some cases, the subscription may include conditions specific to the contract in favor of a third party - when the subscriber appoints the third party as the user (beneficiary).
