Nick Rock and Roll (real name Nikolai Frantsevich Kuntsevich ; August 7, 1960 , Orenburg ) is a Soviet and Russian rock musician . One of the founders of "rock performance " and shock rock in Russia.

Biography

He began his career on stage in the group "Second Echelon" ( Crimea ) with Yuri Yuks. He became famous by creating the Koba group in Vladivostok in 1989 . Later he moved to Tyumen . He founded the rock group "Rub the Souls". He also made joint recordings with the bands Lolita , Ostrovsky and The Vivisectors . The protagonist of the documentary "Immersion", released in 2009 , and the online series "Genuine Rock" and "My Rock and Roll", dedicated to contemporary independent rock music. [one]

He founded the White Cat interregional rock center in Tyumen. He is the author of the All-Russian festival of female rock vocals "Sirin", which took place in the city of Tyumen for many years. Later on, such famous groups and singers as Chicherina , Night Snipers , Nataliya Medvedeva , Julia Teunikova , Olga Dzusova , Inna Zhelannaya , Olga Arefieva , Picasso Children , IndigoDiva and many other famous singers debuted at this festival. He was the chairman of the jury of the international competition TheGlobalBattleOfTheBands (Russia), nominee and expert of the All-Russian project "Cultural Heroes of the 21st Century" (Tyumen).

Since 2009, collaborates with the AzZzA project ( Yekaterinburg musician Azat Mukhametov), ​​as well as with the Korobeynikov Brothers project (the famous Yekaterinburg inferno director Dmitry Korobeynikov).
