Filmography

Value

  • The German Slavicist Wolfgang Kazak traditionally tried to identify Terentyev as a “younger brother” of Russian futurism, and installed (as if Russian futurism was something transparent and clear) intelligible vectors of “influence” - which is methodologically controversial, since Terentyev and “ 41 ° "from the first steps with futurism categorically delimited (you can only talk about "mutual influences" among the Russian avant-garde):

“As a Russian futurist, Terentyev was under the influence of A. Kruchenykh , V. Mayakovsky and S. Tretyakov . His small publications reveal the same approach of protest, returning to the original meaning of the word and trying to draw attention to the word and meaning in the new context using the dismissive method of recruitment. By the way, his adherence to well-known proverbs, which he uses as a language and semantic material, belongs to his technique ” [4] .
