The Autumn group was formed in 1995 . Her debut album, “ When lust evokes the curse ”, released by “ Sony Music / Epic ” in 2002 , placed Autumn on a par with fellow artists After Forever and Within Temptation, a group that Autumn supported on tour . Accompanying this release , the group played many headlining shows and successful performances at festivals, in particular, appearances at the festivals Dynamo, Lowlands, Metalfest, Fields Of Rock and M'Era Luna in Germany.

At the end of 2003, Autumn took a break in performances to focus on writing new songs.

The group began work in the summer of 2004 with producers Nico Authuis and Sib van der Plow in the SyCo studio. “Both Nico and Sib had a cathartic effect on Autumn. They were able to make us sound the way we wanted to sound. For the first time, the complete recording process was a very relaxing experience. They have the gift to create so that the musicians feel confident, encouraging everyone to achieve the best that he can, ”says Meyndert. As a result, Summer's end radiated self-confidence and energy.

The group goes on a tour of the Dutch clubs and has joined the “Within Temptation” on the Belgian and German stages of their “The Silent Force” tour; the result of which was a two-week extremely successful tour of the main cities of Germany, in February 2005 , in support of the release of “Summer's End” (published by “ Universal ”). For the sake of further promotion of “Summer's End”, in April 2005 the band released their first single , an edited version of the album track “Gallery Of Reality”. A video was released in support of which the group worked in a team with the Dutch media company Revolver, which specializes in films, including documentaries, radio programs and animations.

With the release of the single and a significant number of shows and festivals in the following months, the group could be seen on a team with Within Temptation.

The group has changed composition. A special loss can be considered the departure of Meyndert, who was with the group from the base and wrote lyrics and music, as well as designed the album covers. Vocalist Ninke has another, new, band called “Dejafuse”.

In May 2007, the band released a new album, entitled "My new time", for which the group subscribed to " Metal Blade Records ". Eleven songs were recorded at Graveland Studio with producer Arno Krabman.
