The opponent of the literary group Young Poland , Eske-Hoinski, began his literary work in a rather "freedom-loving" spirit, opposed priests (Kossak u. Kuczma, 1876 , Karmazyn, 1877 ); collaborated in the positivist magazine Nowiny. Only later was Eske-Hoinski transferred to the group of “young conservatives” and became an active participant in their bodies - “Niwa” and “Slowo”.
Of the works of Eske-Hoinski, the most famous are “Pozytywizm warszawski i jego glowni przedstawiciele” (Warsaw positivism and its main representatives), “Typy i idealy pozytiwistycznej beletrystiki polskiej” (Types and ideals of positivist Polish fiction), “Poznaj Узна Learn ), Dekadentyzm (Decadence, 1905 ), a number of works on German literature, such as Gustaw Freytag, Dramat niemeccki w wieku XIX (German drama in the 19th century), Henryk Heine, etc. From his fiction works, for example, one can name a series of short stories on Provencal themes, separate parts from an epic that should have covered a little perhaps not all of European history, such as, for example, “Gasnące Slonce” (fading sun), etc.
