Biography

Peter Dranga was born in Moscow in a family of musicians ^[2] . His father, Yuri Petrovich Dranga , is Greek by nationality ^[3] , professor at the Gnesinsky Academy of Music , people's artist of Russia . Mother - Elena Kirillovna.

Peter is the youngest of three children in the family; he has two older sisters and two nephews. It was under the influence of his father, accordionist, that Peter began to play the accordion from the age of five. The father became the first teacher for the boy.

In 1990 he entered the Richter School of Music . And the next year I went to the first grade of a secondary school .

The first success came to Peter at the age of twelve. In 1996, he became a laureate of the VI Moscow Open Accordion Competition, in October of that year he became a laureate of the International Accordion Competition in Castelfidardo , Italy .

Then there were many other competitions , and everywhere Peter became a laureate .

In 1997, he participated in the 13th International Festival in St. Petersburg . In 1998, in Moscow, he got a job as a cleaner in the aquarium salon of the Orbita cinema.

In 1998 he performed at the International Festival in Beijing ( PRC ). In the same year he became a laureate of the International Accordion Competition in Spain ( Asturias ).

In 1999, he received the title of laureate at the VII Moscow Open Competition, began working in concerts of the Russian Cultural Foundation, graduated from high school, and entered the Gnesins music school .

In January 2000 - laureate of the 1st All-Russian competition of musicians "New Names". In May of that year he left home. He devoted all his free time to arranging in the studio. In addition to the accordion, the artist mastered acoustic and bass guitars. Already in his teens, he began to create arrangements of classical compositions. Peter played classical music, punk rock , art rock , grunge , music of other directions and styles.

In November 2001, he organized the instrumental group "Torra". In December 2001, he got a job as a musician in a restaurant , along the way he continued to make instrumental music arrangements for an accordion in the studio. As a result of the conflict, the Torra group broke up.

In June 2002, he left to work in the North Caucasus , upon returning he created his own small studio and organized the overdrive vocal and instrumental group. In September of the same year he began working in the capital’s clubs, the first tour to Italy “I love D n B” took place, he graduated from a music school majoring as a solo artist (accordion) and conductor of the orchestra, and entered the Gnesins Academy .

In 2002-2004, he worked as a guest star in the show of the parodist Alexander Peskov .

In November 2004, he began solo performances.

In 2007, he became a participant in the show of the TV channel "Russia" " Dancing on Ice ". Performing in tandem with the skater Oksana Grischuk , took 3rd place.

In 2008, he presented his first disc " 23 " consisting of 12 compositions, most of which were authored by Peter.
