Darkstar One is a space simulator from Ascaron Entertainment and cdv Software Entertainment , released on June 16, 2006 in Europe and August 14, 2006 in North America . On July 20, 2008, an Xbox 360 version was released called Darkstar One: Broken Alliance.

Story
Kyron Jarvis is the son of the late Simon Jarvis, the creator of a unique starship called Darkstar One. At the beginning of the game, Robert, a friend of Simon, hands over this ship to Keiron after graduating from the academy. Then Robert tells Keiron the real cause of his father's death. His father's ship was sabotaged by Jack Forrester, another close friend. Since then, Robert has kept the Darkstar One secret from everyone, wanting to fulfill his friend’s last wish - for his son to receive this unique ship.
Characters
- Kyron Jarvis is the main character of the game. Has a natural talent for space travel.
- Robert is a middle-aged earthman, known for his developments in the field of force fields. He is a security adviser in the Union.
- Aeon - a dugout that is innocent only in appearance. Although she often behaves fairly, she still has a dangerous past.
- Jack Forrester - Earthman, pilot ace. When they wanted to sew the murder of Simon Jarvis, Jack decided to escape and get to the truth himself.
- Ramirez is a Mortok pirate with a strong sense of honor and courage. Like all Mortoks, Ramirez is always ready to go into battle. Although he is a pirate, Ramirez accepts only tasks that he considers "honest."
- Dr. Zarkov is a smart raptor scientist exploring recent attacks on tuls. His favorite expression: “You can’t be pedantic.”
- Nikolai is the raptor who is the head of security at the research station. He believes in justice holy. It is a magnet for failure.
- Joe'son is an okto diplomat. Like all his brothers, Joe'son is a very logical and rational individual. That is what makes him a great diplomat.
- Jiyu is an arrak soldier. Like all arraks, he tries to strictly follow the procedure and the law, but he is always ready to help friends.
- Naara is a Tul woman. An outstanding scientist and an excellent pilot. It differs from other tools in that it does not consider diplomacy a pernicious affair.
