Herman's Hermits is a British rock band of the 1960s , originally created in Manchester in 1963 under the name Herman & The Hermits . Being part of the “ British invasion ”, they had as their “trademark” a simple, safe and clearly defined image of “boys living in the neighborhood”, which made them easier to listen to and more accessible than other participants in the “British invasion”.
