- June 25, 1700 - Formed as a soldier’s infantry regiment Kashpar Gulitsa (consisting of 9 fusilier and 1 grenadier companies) during the recruitment of prince A.I. Repnin soldiers for his division.
- 1700-1721 - Participated in the Northern War :
- August-October 1702 - Participated in the siege and assault of the Noteburg fortress . 100 fuselers and 100 grenadiers under the command of Captain Myakinin were included in the detachment of Colonel Yakov Gordon . After the failure of the colonel and Major Myakinin led the assault convoy, but the first attack failed. The soldiers of the regiment also participated in further attempts at assault, for which 150 soldiers were presented for reward.
- April 25 - May 1, 1703 - Participated in the siege and capture of the Nyenskans Fortress , losing 12 lower ranks. The soldiers of the regiment participated in a boarding battle with the Swedish ships Gedan and Astrel.

Wittgenstein , participated in the affairs of the Boyarshchyna and the anniversary, in the battles of Polotsk, in the battles of Chashniki and Borisov, then in the blockade of Magdeburg .
- The Grenadier Company of the 2nd Battalion as part of the 1st Combined Grenadier Brigade of the 5th Infantry Corps of the 1st Western Army, participated in the Battle of Borodino and was attached to the regiment in the Tarutinsk camp.

A golden wreath, crowned with the Imperial crown, on the bottom of which a silver garnet with a gold "C" is applied. The background of the sign is convex, covered with transparent blue enamel, on it are connected gold monograms of the Emperors Peter I and Nicholas II.
