Biography
Born into a noble family. Since 1817 he served in the Iletsk salt office as a draftsman. In parallel to the main occupation, he studied mining, mechanics, and architecture.
He served in Orenburg, Petersburg, Astrakhan.
He posted poems in various magazines. In prose he printed: “Orenburg Exchange Courtyard” (“ Domestic Notes ”, 1827 , part 30); "Kyrgyz". Excerpt from the story "Yakub-Batyr" (" Literary Newspaper " 1830 , No. 7) and "Kyrgyz Raid" (" Northern Flowers ", 1830 ).
A significant part of his creative heritage has remained unpublished. “The Story of My Grandmother” (Nevsky Almanac, 1832) helped A. S. Pushkin in his work on “The Captain's Daughter” [2] .
His brother, Mikhail Pavlovich, published poems in the Bulletin of Europe of the 1820s.
