The son of a priest, a graduate and teacher of the Kiev Theological Academy , the director of the Warsaw gymnasium, a member of the scientific committee at the Synod .
Kryzhanovsky was an active member of the Guide for Rural Shepherds magazine; in Russky Vestnik ( 1868 , No. 8-10) placed the article: “Unrest of Uniates on Podlasie”. Kryzhanovsky’s articles (not all) were collected in his “Works” (Kiev, 1890 ).
