Features
In addition to digitizing audio discs, the program is capable of converting from one audio format to another. fre: ac supports major audio formats such as MP3 , Ogg Vorbis , MP4 / AAC , WMA and FLAC . It has a multilingual interface. The developers have made great efforts to support Unicode encodings. The program is able to work with the CD freedb database and ID3v2 tag formats using Unicode.
Weaknesses
- There is no support for multi-channel audio files (5.1, 7.1, etc.).
