Etsako is a people inhabiting southern Nigeria . The number of about 274 thousand people (1995).

They speak the language of thatsako of the edoid branch of the Benue-Congolese family .
Religion

History
They come from Benin . Divided into 9 tribes, this people underwent significant influence of the Yoruba and Nupa in the 2nd half of the 19th century . The latter brought Islam .
Genesis
Manual slash-and-burn farming , insignificant cattle breeding , poultry breeding. They are also engaged in hunting and fishing. From handicrafts, blacksmithing, weaving, and woodcarving were developed. Maintain trade relations with neighboring nations.
Lifestyle
