Geography

Located in the south of Samara Bows - on the banks of the Saratov reservoir . Near Ermakovo are located the villages of Vinnivka , Osinovka , Leste , and the summer cottage Ermakovsky (Ermaki).

History

The first settlements in the village arose long ago. The ancient settlement near the Biryuchy ravine by the archaeologist V.V. Golmsten in 1923 was attributed to the Imenkovsky culture .

The village itself also has an ancient history and is supposedly founded by Cossacks Ermak Timofeevich , the conqueror of Siberia . The first documentary mention of the village dates back to 1675 .

In 1780, the village population was 215 revision souls. By 1900, the population had grown to 1,125 revision souls. Three years later - 1470 inhabitants.

In 1795, the Church of the Exaltation appeared in the village. In 1898, it was updated. In 1876, a zemstvo school was opened in the village. Under the Blagoveshchensk loan in the dacha of the Orlov-Davydov estate in Ermakovo there was a forestry plant of the Timber Industry of St. Petersburg Bragorsky Joint Stock Company.

In February 1918, Soviet power was established in the village. In 1930, in Yermaky, the grain collective farm “Lenin's Way” and the fishing collective farm “Volna” of Gosrybtrest were formed. Grain farm served Sosnovo-Solonetsk MTS.

The surroundings of the village are rich in minerals. In 1935, exploration discovered an ocher deposit with a debit of 5 thousand tons, and white clay with a reserve of 37 thousand tons. In 1948-1958, a refractory brick factory was operating in the village. During the Great Patriotic War, employees of the Department of Geography and the methods of teaching it at the Kuybyshev Pedagogical and Teacher Institute under the leadership of K. Ya Polyakov, near the village, discovered a rock containing aluminum - Zhigulit . However, the low thickness of the strata did not allow the industrial development of the field, which may have preserved a unique natural landscape.

History of Administrative Subordination

Initially, Ermakovo belonged to the Samara district of Simbirsk governorship . Then in 1780 it became part of the Syzran district of the Simbirsk province .

Until 1924, the village belonged to the Sosnovo-Solonets volost Syzran district, according to other sources - to the Osinov volost [2] of the Syzran district of the Simbirsk province, and from 1924 - the Ulyanovsk province [3] .

Since 1928, the village of Ermakovo belonged to the Sosnovo-Solonets volost of the Samara district of the Samara province [3] .

Since 1929, it was part of the Osinovsky Village Council of the Samara District of the Middle Volga Region .

Since 1937 - as part of the Molotov district of the Kuibyshev region .

Since 1941 - Ermakovo as part of the Sosnovo-Solonetsky district of the Kuibyshev region.

In 1960, the village became part of the Zhigulevsky district of the Kuibyshev region.

Since 1963, in the Stavropol district of the Kuibyshev region. Since 1991 - the Stavropol district of the Samara region.

In 2006, the village became part of the Osinovka rural settlement of the Stavropol district of the Samara region.
