Bulletproof monk

In 1943, the German Standard Standart of the SS attacked the temple in Tibet in search of an almighty tablet, after reading which a person can acquire divine powers. Only one of the monks is able to escape - the one who was elected to protect the tablet for the next 60 years.

Nowadays, 60 years after the attack on the temple, a young pickpocket named Kar ("family" in Cantonese dialect ) appears on the scene and comes across a monk pursued by the people of an old German. The monk witnesses the fulfillment of two of the three prophecies, which foreshadow the appearance of the next guardian of the table, Kara. Kar meets a girl named Jade (bandit), and both are caught in this 60-year-old hunt. The German manages to kidnap a monk, but he changed the tablet, inflicting it on his body in the form of a tattoo and remembering the last line. Kar and Jade penetrate the lair of the kidnappers and rescue other monks, thereby fulfilling the third prophecy. The monk and Carre are fighting together with a rejuvenated German, who has absorbed most of the forces of the tables. Karu barely manages to dump him on high-voltage wires when he finally accepted his destiny and learned to “walk through the air like a stone.” But then the German returns and shoots Kara. Jade intercepts the bullet, and Kar pushes the German under the statue that kills him. Raising her blouse Jade, Kar sees a part of the inscriptions of the tablets on her body. The monk understands that both Kar and Jade have divided the duties of the guardian, because each of them does not have a full life. Only together can they live a normal life. Before retiring, the monk whispers to each of them half the memorized phrase, making them united for the next 60 years.
