Content
Title
The name goes back to the non-canonical personal name Lik / Lika, which is derived from the canonical names Glycerius, Polycarpus, Felicia, etc. [2]
History
At the end of the 18th century, Likino was celebrated as part of the “economic” Nakhabinsk volost [3] . Then in the village there were 22 yards, and the population was 77 men and 89 women. [3]
The index of K. Nystrem of 1852 notes that the village of Likina was in the department of state property. The population at that time was 84 men and 118 women [3] .
In 1926, according to the census, there were already 77 households, 409 residents, and a first-level school [3] . In the following decades, the village was actively developing; five- and nine-story residential buildings, a school, and a store were built.
The 1989 census recorded 341 households and 1225 resident people [3] .
In 1994-2006 - the center of the Likinsky rural district .
In 2005—2019. Likino was part of the rural settlement of Zhavoronkovskoye [4] [5] .
Geography
The village of Likino is located 33 km west of the center of Moscow and 10 km south-west of the center of Odintsovo , on the Minsk highway . The village of Zhavoronki adjoins Likin in the west, the village of Shchedrino in the north, and the village of Yamishchevo in the southeast.

Economy
In the southern part of the village, on the territory of the former poultry farm , there is a large industrial zone - the so-called industrial park. On its territory, the production of building materials , furniture , switchboard equipment, etc. is ongoing. Also in the village is a rental and maintenance center for construction machinery and equipment. There are retail, catering and consumer services enterprises.
Transportation
The residential part of the village is located north of the 36th kilometer of the M1 Belarus highway ( Minsk highway ).
Bus routes connect Likino with the cities of Moscow , Odintsovo , Krasnoznamensk , Mozhaysk , Kubinka , Golitsyno , Vereya , urban-type villages Lesnoy Gorodok , Novoivanovskoye , as well as the village of Zhavoronki , where the passenger railway platform of the same name is located.
Architecture
The main building of Likino is represented by private houses and cottages . In the northern part of the village are multi-unit panel (as well as one brick) houses up to nine floors high.
Attractions
On the territory of the village there is the grave of an unknown soldier and the Monument to the fallen fellow villagers - memorial plates with the names of the fallen countrymen d. Likino and d. Shchedrino . The monument was erected on May 9, 1949. The author is unknown [8] .
Education
Likino has a secondary school and a kindergarten.
