Named trains of the Moscow Metro - trains with their own names assigned in honor of any events, anniversaries, or as part of thematic events. Such trains have various distinctive features, their range can be wide: from simple tablets and inscriptions with the name of the train on head cars, to completely original design of all cars or even design differences of cars of the train from ordinary cars of the same type.
It is customary to arrange railcars in personalized trains thematically not only from the inside (at least), but also from the outside, while the metro does not place advertisements in the salons of such cars, themed stickers are hung instead. With the unusual design of trains, difficulties may arise with their operation: in case of technical malfunctions of one car, it cannot be replaced by a reserve one, and the entire train is forced to stand idle.
In 2017-2019, after the mass appearance of trains ordered by state organizations, the status of the “Named Train” was actually lost, since the information posted in the wagons of such trains is advertising in nature. For this reason, the article does not indicate all trains that have or had any design in a certain period of time. In the spring of 2019, mass detematization of registered trains was carried out, their number was halved.

It was named in 1984 in honor of the action of the pioneers of the Kuntsevsky district , who collected scrap for two new registered trains that were planned to be launched along the Filyovskaya line - “Pioneer Kuntseva” and “ Molodogvardeets ”. The scrap collection operation was called the Pioneer Train and began in January 1984. The initiators of the operation were the pioneers of school number 98, later pioneer squads of the entire district joined them. By October 1984, 330 tons of recycled material had been collected.
On December 30, 1984 , the train first entered the Filyovskaya line , but it was a repainted old train of type D cars, instead of the planned new train of model 81-717 / 714 . Plates were placed in the first and last carriage of the train, on which it read: “The train was built from scrap metal assembled in 1984,” but the factory one, which read “Mytishchi Carriage Building Plant, type“ D ”carriage, year of manufacture: 1961 ” [3] . The reason for this forgery was that the Moscow Metro leadership refused to launch a new type of trains on the Filyovskaya line, citing the impossibility of their operation in an almost completely land line with severe weather conditions. The real new train, intended for the "Pioneer Kuntsev", arrived in the end on the Zamoskvoretskaya line , where at that time the old cars were being replaced with new ones. The second Molodogvardeets train was sent to the Serpukhov-Timiryazevskaya line , which also had nothing to do with the Kuntsevsky district of Moscow. Such forgeries at that time caused a significant public outcry, especially in the Kuntsevo district. Repeatedly in the newspapers Pionerskaya Pravda and Gudok , articles appeared on this subject. For some time there was a lawsuit between the Kuntsevo RK of the Komsomol and the Moscow City Committee of the CPSU with the leadership of the Moscow Metro, but in the end the decision remained the same. The Pioneer Kuntseva train lasted only 6 years, after which it was cut into scrap metal in 1991, since the current term of its operation on the line was not from 1984, but from 1961.
- In 2010, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Moscow Metro, the Falerist club issued a commemorative badge dedicated to the personal train “Pioneer Kuntseva” [4] .
Molodogvardeets
For the manufacture of the composition, metal was used, obtained from scrap metal collected in 1984 by schoolchildren of the Kuntsevsky district of Moscow in honor of the upcoming 40th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War . The train got its name along Molodogvardeyskaya street , which runs through the district. According to the initial idea of the pioneers, the train was supposed to appear on the Filyovskaya line , but due to the fact that cars 81-717 / 714 were not intended for operation on long ground sections, in early 1985 the train was sent to the Serpukhov-Timiryazevskaya line , which has absolutely no no relation to the Kuntsevo district of Moscow. After the events of 1991, the train ceased to exist.
Gaidarovets
The ceremonial launch of the train took place on December 10, 1987 at the Kaluga electric depot . The ceremony was attended by students of school number 27 of the Yasenevo district, who for three years collected scrap metal for the new composition. The name of the train was invented by the students themselves, because the school had a museum named after Arkady Gaidar [5] . Signs were fastened on the head cars, and on the sides outside there were inscriptions with the name of the train ( photo of external design ). The train worked on the Kaluga-Riga line for only four years, in the fall of 1991 the inscriptions on its sides were painted over, and the signs were removed. It consisted of cars of type 81-717 / 714 . Numbering: 0123–0435–0434–0433–0432–0431–0430–0124.
“Moscow Metro in Honor of the 60th Anniversary”
He worked on the Lublin line from the very first day of its opening, namely on December 28, 1995 . It differed from the usual trains only by the inscription on the left sides of the head cars, while in the salons instead of thematic posters a regular advertisement was placed. ( photo of external design ). It consisted of cars of type 81-717.5M / 714.5M . Numbering: 2511-1090-1092-1091-1093-1036-2512. On the carriage 2511 the inscription was painted over in 2002, 2512 - in 2006.

Launched on May 8, 2003 on the Sokolnicheskaya line in memory of the 60th anniversary of the Battle of Kursk . The appearance of this train is associated with the participation in the battles on the Kursk Bulge of the Moscow Metro armored train. The armored train was built on donations from subway workers; its crew was also made up of subway workers. On July 5–7, 1943, the crew of the armored train carried out heavy defensive battles. The armored train was destroyed at Sazhnoye station of the Southeast Railway [6] . Simultaneously with the launch of the train, the painting "The Last Battle of the Moscow Metro Armored Train" discovered in the Belgorod Region was donated to the metro.
The only external difference from the usual trains - on the head cars there were commemorative metal tablets and the inscription "Kursk Bulge" with St. George ribbons. Inside the cars were pasted materials on the history of the Moscow Metro armored train. In mid-April 2019, the inscriptions on the sides of the train were painted over, signs and information posters in the salons were removed. Cases were known when the Kursk Bulge wagons were combined with other ordinary wagons. As rolling stock, cars of the type 81-717.5M / 714.5M were used .

Posters were posted in the salons of the anniversary train, telling about how the history of the Moscow metro began , what happened in the metro during the Great Patriotic War, how the metro developed and improved over the course of 70 years. In the decoration of the train, unique, previously unpublished photographs were used, in particular, telling about the shelter of Muscovites at metro stations from enemy air raids in 1941-1942 . In addition, metro schemes of various years were posted on posters, the history of Moscow metro tickets, the improvement of rolling stock, and much more are reflected. From the outside, the train was distinguished by stickers in the form of a subway logo on the sides of the doors, as well as central stickers “70 years of the Moscow metro” and “1935-2005” ( photo of external design ). As planned, the train ran throughout the anniversary year, and in March 2006 all the festive decoration was removed.

In August 2007, there was a proposal to create a train designed to popularize literature, mainly among children. It was supposed to arrange the train in the form of a children's book, depict literary characters and lines from the works of world children's literature on the walls of cars. On May 31, 2008, at the Vorobyovy Gory station, a ceremony was held to launch the six-car train of model 81-717 / 714 of a literary train that was decorated on the outside with the designation of the reading Moscow campaign. On June 3, 2008, the Reading Moscow train began regular traffic along the Koltsevaya line . In January 2012, due to the fact that the Koltsevaya line was transferred to 81-740.4 / 741.4 Rusich wagons, the train was transferred to the Kakhovskaya line , where it worked until January 2017, after which it was disbanded.
Images of literary characters, reproductions of characteristic scenes and excerpts from famous works of Russian and world literature for children and adults were placed inside the train cars. Excerpts from the epics “ Ilya Muromets and Nightingale the Robber ” and “ Dobrynya and the Snake ” were shown on the walls of the first carriage, the characters of folk tales — Kolobok , Ivan Tsarevich and the Frog Princess — are depicted. The second car was dedicated to the Russian classics, in its design were used excerpts from “ War and Peace ” by L. N. Tolstoy , “The Examiner ” N. V. Gogol , “ Eugene Onegin ” A. S. Pushkin , “ Notes of the Hunter ” I. S. Turgenev , “ Masquerade ” by M. Yu. Lermontov and reproductions of famous scenes from these works. Works on nature and animals, such as: “The Traveling Frog” by V. M. Garshin and “The Gray Neck” by D. N. Mamin-Sibiryak, were placed in the third carriage. The fourth car was devoted to literature for the smallest - the most famous children's works and characters were presented here: Aibolit , Mukha-Tsokotuha , Old Man Hottabych and Dunno . The fifth car was aimed at adolescents - on the walls are excerpts from the work of V. G. Gubarev “The Kingdom of Crooked Mirrors” and the novel by A. P. Gaidar “ Timur and his team ”. The last sixth car was devoted to works of foreign literature. Here passengers could get acquainted with the work of Antoine de Saint-Exupery , Mark Twain , Jules Verne , Herbert Wells and Amadeus Hoffmann .

Initially, it differed from the usual compositions on the outside only by the company logo on the walls of the cars, stickers with poems from different countries were placed in the salons. On November 17, 2010 the train began regular movement along the Filyovskaya line [8] . The first selection of poems was dedicated to the work of five famous Chilean poets. The poems were given in two languages - Russian and Spanish . Since December 1, 2011, the train began to work on the Arbat-Pokrovskaya line , an additional car without stickers with verses in the cabin was hooked into it. March 10, 2012 was returned to the Filyovskaya line .
It has become a tradition to renew the exposition in train cars every year. The last time the composition was updated on May 24, 2016 to celebrate the year of the language and literature of Great Britain and Russia, as well as the 400th anniversary of the memory of William Shakespeare . With the advent of the Shakespearean Passion exhibition, the train was themed for the first time not only from the inside, but also from the outside. The exterior of the cars introduced photographs of people reincarnated as characters from the Shakespeare era and experiencing various emotions. Since October 2, 2016, the train began to be operated again on the Arbat-Pokrovskaya line , but this time an additional car was redesigned in the subject of the project. There were cases when the cars "Poetry in the subway" were combined with other ordinary cars. At the end of November 2017, the Shakespearean Passion exposition was removed, but the train did not receive a new design. As rolling stock, wagons 81-740.1 / 741.1 Rusich were used .

Inside, on the walls of the salon, posters with photographs and historical sketches on the formation and development of Russian railway transport were pasted. The exposition included a lot of archival photographs and rare documents, but a lot of attention was paid to modern developments, as well as the prospects for the development of railways.
The train was presented on August 1, 2012 at the Vystavochnaya station ( photos and description ), after which it traveled along the Filyovskaya line and then transferred to the Koltsevaya line , which traveled for a short time [9] , since by December 1, 2012 all holiday information from the cars was removed.
- On August 12, 2012, at the Krasnopresnenskaya station, Valery Ivanov, the driver who controlled the train that day, for unknown reasons did not notice Ivan Gudin, who was pinched in the doorway. The train was designed to acquaint passengers with the 80-year history of the Moscow Metro . Each of the train cars was dedicated to separate episodes of the history of the subway: one car - one decade. Outside, the cars were made in the color schemes of the metro lines, however, due to the fact that the number of cars is 8 and the number of lines 12, the Arbat-Pokrovskaya and Filevskaya lines are combined into one light blue car, and the colors of Lublin-Dmitrov , Kakhovskaya and Butovskaya lines were absent in principle. On the sides of the train were photos and dates of significant events in the life of the capital's underground transport. Inside each car was posted information about the underground workers, the history of the stations and their architects, and the entire chronology of the development of the metro car fleet was reflected. On the walls of the cars, statistics were indicated: the number of employees, cars, stations and kilometers of tracks at the beginning of a certain decade and for the period of its end.
The train was launched on the Serpukhov-Timiryazevskaya line on May 13, 2015, on the eve of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Moscow Metro. Exclusively for this composition, all voice announcements of stations were recorded by Igor Kirillov (played until September 2015). On September 21, 2015, the train took part in the opening of the Kotelniki station and worked on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line with passengers until the next day, after which it was returned back to the Vladykino depot. On January 26, 2016, the train was transferred to the Vykhino depot, and on February 3, it began regular movement along the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line on an ongoing basis. On January 16, 2018, the train was transferred to the Sviblovo depot, and on February 22 began regular traffic along the Kaluga-Riga line . On August 24, 2018, the train was returned to the Vladykino depot, and from the last days of August began regular movement along the Serpukhov-Timiryazevskaya line , which it initially worked on. On November 18, 2018, the train was transferred to the Solntsevo depot, and from December 5 began regular movement along the Solntsevskaya and Bolshoi ring lines. In April 2019, the design of the train was removed. As the rolling stock, 81-760A / 761A / 763A Oka wagons with a through passage were used.

Gallery train with reproductions of paintings, created on the initiative of Sergei Andriyaka . The first named train, the wagons of which have structural differences from the standard ones. Launched on June 1, 2007 , on Children's Day , on the Arbat-Pokrovskaya line . The first selection of paintings was devoted to the work of the artist-initiator and the students of his school.
All five wagons of the train are glued outside with colored film with images of flowers, fruits, rivers, trees. Compared with ordinary cars of the 81-740.1 / 741.1 Rusich type , there are no windows and seats on one of the sides, in their place there are paintings above which lighting is added. Each car has its own color scheme - both gluing from the outside and the color of the floor, walls and seats in the car are unique. In January 2013, the film with which the train was glued on the outside was replaced with a new one - with a slightly different color.
Initially, the train was supposed to be used only during off-peak hours and on a shorter route, however, the train began to be operated in the morning peak hours along the full length of the line. At the beginning of operation, the train went according to its own schedule, but soon it began to work on a par with conventional trains.

It was built in 2010 on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Moscow Metro and stylized as the first train of the Moscow Metro [35] , which consisted of Type A cars . Created by special order at the manufacturer ( Metrovagonmash ), made on the basis of the model 81-717.5M / 714.5M , but received its digital designation - 81-717.5A / 714.5A . Launched on Sokolnicheskaya line on May 15, 2010 , on the day of the 75th anniversary of the Moscow metro [36] [37] . The leadership of the subway and some media outlets presented this train as an “exact copy of the train of the 30s,” which does not correspond to reality.
Outside, the train differs from the base model in the following details: the body is painted in the colors typical of the 1930s metro, the front part of the head cars with two chrome-plated headlights stylized as type A cars is used (but without an end door, unlike the original). Instead of the side numbers of cars - the emblem of the USSR . The interior decoration of cars is made of slow-burning plastic imitating linkcrust - a material used in the salons of cars of the old series; the salon is equipped with soft sofas with sidewalls of the seats, and sconce lamps typical of the first metro trains were also mounted [38] . At the bottom of the doors is a rubber seal in the form of a “Kaganovich leg”. Initially, wooden window frames were installed in the cars, subsequently replaced by standard aluminum, glued with wood-like film. All other aluminum interior parts (door trim, battens between sheets of plastic) are replaced with plastic “wood-like”. The rest of the train is similar to the cars of the last series 81-717.5M / 714.5M and is intended for regular passenger operation.

The second train, dedicated to tigers and leopards, was launched on the Serpukhov-Timiryazevskaya line on July 29, 2016 on International Tiger Day with the participation of the Amur Tiger Center, the ANO Far Eastern Leopards and the Russian Geographical Society [40] .
The train exposition spoke about two of the rarest representatives of the large cat family on the planet. Visual space was developed by illustrators from different cities of Russia, using an artificial neural network . Unlike the first “Striped Express”, where real photographs of cats and nature were used as illustrations, in the second train they were depicted in the form of coarse drawings, [40] the train also differed from its predecessor in that it was completely covered with a color film on the outside , thematically stylized by the nature of the Far East with images of Far Eastern cats. On the front of the head carriages were depicted the faces of a tiger (carriage 37165) and a leopard (37166), whose eyes are located above the headlights of the train [40] .
Inside, the cars, on the contrary, were decorated in a more strict style - the walls, ceiling and floor of the car retained their original colors and were not pasted over the entire surface; instead, stickers with images of tigers and leopards were glued to the walls. Interactive stickers were also developed for the wagons: a life-sized tiger jumping through the doors, a paw to which you can attach your hand, or a comparison of the footprint of a tiger, tigress, tiger cub, leopard, leopard and Far Eastern cat. Each of the eight carriages was designed as one of the stages of growing up and the history of the cat's daily life - from cubs to adult animals [40] . In January 2018 , the design of the train was removed.
Exactly three years after the launch, the same design was restored, and the train began to run with him on July 29, 2019. It is planned that the train will run for six months. As rolling stock, wagons 81-760 / 761 Oka are used .

The Synergy-1 and Synergy-2 trains are used as mobile diagnostic complexes and are the only registered trains of the Moscow Metro, designed not for passenger traffic, but for official operation. As the rolling stock, cars of the model 81-717 / 714 are used, painted in a yellow-red color scheme with orange stripes.
