Geography

Located on the Tuloma River , 83 km from Murmansk along the Lotta highway.

It is included in the list of settlements of the Murmansk region prone to the threat of forest fires ^[2] .

History

Arose in connection with the construction of the Verkhnetulomskaya hydroelectric station . The status of an urban-type settlement has been since 1966 .
