History

Until the 1930s, the station was called junction 78.

The current name is due to the fact that since the 1930s, the vicinity of the station has become a popular place for mass festivals of residents of Murmansk . In summer, a special train ran to the station [2] .

Around midnight on March 24, 2018, freight cars rolled off in the station area. As a result, passengers of morning trains following the schedule from Murmansk to Vologda and St. Petersburg decided to deliver buses to Magnetity station [3] and put them on the corresponding trains there.
