The Royal Court of London ( English Royal Courts of Justice , literally “royal court”) is a monumental complex of buildings in the Neo - Gothic style on Strand Street in the center of London , which was erected in 1873 - 1882 according to the project of the former lawyer George Edmund Street and is located under state protection as a prime example of Victorian architecture.
