Schukozero is a village in the Murmansk region . Included in the closed city is Severomorsk . It is located 7 km from the city, on the banks of the Srednyaya River at its confluence with Lake Shchukozero. In the village are the state farm "Severomorets" and a rest house. [1] In 2008, the wooden automobile bridge over the river was replaced with reinforced concrete. [2]

Population
The population living in the village, according to the 2010 All-Russian Population Census , is 712 people, of which 459 are men (64.5%) and 253 are women (35.5%) [3] [4] . In 2002, 1218 people lived in the village.
