We don’t know anything about its origin. Kord was the author of Roman history (possibly called the "Annals"), which described the events of the civil wars and the ensuing sole rule of Emperor Octavian Augustus . In the year 25, the historian was accused of being in the Senate for praising Brutus in his essay and calling Cassius “the last Roman ”. As a result, Kord committed suicide . The Senate ruled that his works be confiscated and burned by the Aediles . However, some copies were preserved by Marcia, daughter of Corda. Kord's work was again published on Caligula's reign. The work of Cremucius has not reached our days.
