Biography
From 1893 professor of the University of Vienna , from 1902 - director of the second clinic Charite in Berlin . He is the author of studies on the heat and acidity of blood, on the transformations of sugar in blood, on respiratory gas exchange during fever, on anemia and eating disorders. He also owns the following more extensive works: "Die Ermüdung als ein Mass der Konstitution" (Stuttg., 1897 ); “Die Erkrankungen der Mundhöhle und der Speiseröhre” (in Notnagel “Specieller Pathologie u. Therapie”, Vol. XVI, Vienna, 1897-1902); "Die Krankheiten der Blutdrüsen" (in Ebsteins "Handb. D. Prakt. Medizin", Stuttg., 1900 ) and several chapters in Leiden "Handb. d. Ernährungstherapie und Diätetik ”(Lpz., 1903-1904 ) and in the Senator and Caminer“ Krankheiten und Ehe ”(Münch. 1904 ) [3] .
