Goryn ' ( Ukrainian: Gorin , Belorussian. Garyn ) is a river in Ukraine and Belarus , the right tributary of Pripyat [1] .

Description
The length of the river is 659 km, the catchment area is 27,700 km², the average annual flow rate at the mouth is 110 m³ / s [2] . The source is located on the Kremenets Upland , then flows along the Volyn Upland in a narrow valley with high and steep banks, then along Polesye in a wide swampy floodplain; in the lower reaches flows through the Pinsk swamps . The height of the mouth is 125 m above sea level [3] .
The mineralization of the water of the Goryn River in the alignment near the Khmelnitsky NPP is: spring flood - 502 mg / dm³; summer-autumn low water - 455 mg / dm³; winter low water - 567 mg / dm³.
Mineralization of the water of the reservoir-cooler of the Khmelnitsky NPP is: spring flood - 396 mg / dm³; summer-autumn low water - 401 mg / dm³; winter low water - 405 mg / dm³. Type of water - bicarbonate-calcium. [four]
The largest influx is Case (right). Goryn is navigable 291 km from the mouth.
The towns and villages of Izyaslav , Slavuta , Neteshin , Ostrog , Goshcha , Orzhev , Stepan , Dubrovitsa , Rechitsa , Stolin , David-Gorodok are located on the Goryn River.
At the village of Lepesovka on the Goryn River, a settlement of the Chernyakhov culture Lepesovka was opened . In 1957-1962, excavations were conducted at the settlement under the guidance of M. A. Tikhanova. Vessels were discovered whose inner surface was ornamented with crosses with straight or branched ends or with the image of a tree.
