Ninel is one of the most used female names for “ideological sound” (see Names of Soviet Origin ). The name in Russian language and culture was fixed longer than many other Soviet names-neologisms, to which there was a surge of interest in the 1920s - early 1930s [3] ; in the "Dictionary of Russian Personal Names" by N. A. Petrovsky, published in 1966 , it was noted that the name came into use due to its good sound [4] . The success of the sound combination forming the name, as well as the embeddedness of the new name in a number of already existing names (cf. Nina , Nelly ) allowed him to easily enter into active use [5] .
