Character List
- Gary "The Rat" Andrews ( born Gary "The Rat" Andrews ) - the protagonist, is a defense lawyer. According to a brief retelling, the strings in the opening credits inexplicably turned into a large anthropomorphic rat, carried away by betting on rat races. In the series, Gary’s human face was never shown, with the exception of the reunion series, where his dream was shown with distorted childhood memories: you can see that he has blonde hair, but his face was not shown. Character can be described as impudent, mean and deceitful, without a shadow of conscience and morality, but also Andrews is very charming and sweet. It can communicate with ordinary rats, although it is not shown whether other people are able to do this.
- Johnny Horatio Bugz is a rodent exterminator. In each series, he comes up with ridiculous ways to kill Andrews and always fails due to random trivia.
- Boots Cat - The cat, Johnny Bugs' best friend. It has pronounced facial expressions and gestures and is able to speak only “meow”. However, at least Joni Bugs and Gary Andrews fully understand him.
- Truman Pinksdale ( Truman Pinksdale ) - Gary's neighbor. Hired Johnny Bugs to get rid of a rodent neighbor. In almost every series, Johnny comes to him and demands one thousand dollars for work that he has not yet done, and gets it only after threats of physical violence. In one of the episodes, he took Butz the cat hostage until the work was done, but the cat turned out to be smarter, tied Truman and fled to the owner.
