The population is more than 600 people, the Germans prevail.
The Germans who moved from Kazakhstan and Central Asia began to settle in Bogdashkino since 1989. The agricultural firms Freundstadt and Vozrozhdenie were created, and a creamery is operating. In the 1990s, the village had the status of a “German national settlement ”, which was later liquidated.
