Associated frame of reference

An accompanying reference system is a reference system connected at a given moment in time with the body itself (or its part), moving with it. Often, even when considering uneven motion , inertial related reference frames are considered . In this case, at each particular moment in time, the body has its own accompanying reference system.

In the accompanying reference frame, the three-dimensional velocity of the body under consideration is always zero; acceleration may differ from zero.
