Dzhan-Ali Khan ( Enalei [1] , Tat. Canğali , Kangali , جان علی ) ( 1516 , Kasimov - September 25, 1535 , Iske-Kazan ) - Kasimov ruler, Tsarevich ( 1519 - 1532 ), Kazan Khan ( 1532 - 1535 ) The son of Sheikh Auliyar of the Sultan, brother of the Kazan khan Shah Ali . Before receiving the Kazan throne ( 1532 ) he was called a prince. [2]
He received the throne of Kasimov from the Moscow Grand Duke Vasily III in 1519 after the departure of his brother Shah-Ali in Kazan. He retained the title of Tsarevich even after the return of Shah Ali ( 1521 ). In 1532, at the request of Kazan, he was elevated to the throne of Kazan, however, Karachibek Bulat Shirin and Tsarevna Gauharshad really controlled the state.
In June 1533, he married Syuyumbike , the daughter of the Nogai bish Yusuf . Khan's daughter Jan-Ali took Abdullah Ak-Kubekov as his wife.
In 1535 he was overthrown by the Kazan nobility and exiled to Isk-Kazan . He was buried in the Kazan Kremlin . [3]
