Kiev district of Odessa was created by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of December 30, 1962 .

Located on an area of ​​4770 ha, the length along the seashore is 12.6 km. In the region of 284 streets (including Academician Korolev , Kostandi and Lyapidevsky ) with a length of more than 200 km.
