The Cook Islands Party is a Cook Islands party founded in 1964 by Albert Henry based on the Progressive Cook Islands Community .
It was the country's main political force from 1965 to 1978 and from 1989 to 1999 . From 1999 to 2005, she participated in coalition governments. In the parliamentary elections of 1999, she won 10 seats in parliament, and in 2004 - 9 seats. In 2006, the party’s permanent leader, Jeffrey Henry , replaced the country’s political life, giving way to Henry Poon.
