Biography
Born in 1792, came from the nobility of the Tobolsk province .
In 1807 he entered as a lieutenant in the Shirvan Infantry Regiment and was promoted to officer on April 2, 1808. As part of the regiment, he participated in military operations against the Austrians in 1809 in Galicia .
In the Patriotic War of 1812 , already in the rank of lieutenant, Beloguzhev was in the battles of Smolensk and near Borodin and in the pursuit of the enemy army; in the campaign of 1813 , being in the detachment of the Crown Prince of Sweden, he participated in the blockade of the Kyustrin fortress, the battles of Dennevitz and Leipzig and the further persecution of the French, and in 1814 he participated in the capture of Paris , distinguishing himself in the double capture of Soissons and in Battle of kraon .
Returning to Russia, after a second campaign in 1815 , Beloguzhev was transferred to the Tomsk Infantry Regiment , from where, in the rank of lieutenant colonel, he was appointed commander of the Okhotsk regiment in 1824. With the latter, in the Russian-Turkish war of 1828-1829. , he took part in many battles, and for the differences in operations under Silistria received the rank of colonel. In the Polish War of 1831, he was part of the troops operating in Lithuania . December 21, 1832 was awarded the Order of St. George 4th degree (No. 4686 according to the list of Grigorovich - Stepanov).
Produced as Major General on December 6, 1837, Beloguzhev was soon appointed commander of the 2nd Brigade of the 9th Infantry Division , in 1846 he was appointed commander of the 11th Infantry Division , and on December 6, 1847 he was promoted to General lieutenants with approval in the post.
The last differences of Beloguzhev in the battle field were his actions in participating in the Hungarian campaign of 1849 , rewarded with orders: Anne and Austrian - Iron Crown, both 1st degree. Leaving the command of the division, Beloguzhev in 1851 was appointed a member of the Chapter of the Russian Imperial and Tsarist Orders, in which he remained in service until the end of his life, having received the rank of general from infantry at the age of 75, April 16, 1867.
He died on June 17, 1869.
