Edward Lucas ( born Edward Lucas ; genus. 1962 ) - British journalist and journalist. He is the author of numerous journal publications and two books devoted to the analysis of the economic and political life of Russia in the early 2000s.

Biography
Born in the family of Oxford professor of philosophy John Lucas. He studied at the Winchester Private School, London School of Economics and Jagiellonian University (Krakow). Since 1986, he worked as a correspondent for The Economist magazine in various Eastern European countries. Since 1996 - the Berlin correspondent, and in 1998 - 2002 - the chief of the Moscow bureau. He speaks German, Polish and Russian [1] .
Regularly participates in television programs on international themes, such as the BBC “Today”, “Start the Week” and “Newsnight” programs [1] .
Family
He is married to a journalist Christine Odone, has three children.
