In 1996, the first novel, The Labyrinth, was published at Armada Publishing House. Since 1998, he has been constantly working with Eksmo-Press Publishing House.

It is thanks to the use of the name of Alexey Kalugin in lawsuits by the Exmo publishing house against torrent trackers that great success has been achieved in blocking the latter.
