Salikh Zamaletdinovich Saydashev ( Tat. Salix Camaletdin uğlı Səydəşev, Salikh Җamaletdin uly Sәydәshev ; December 3, 1900 , Kazan - December 16, 1954 , Moscow ) is a Tatar composer , one of the founders of Tatar professional music .

Biography

The house in which the Tatar composer Salikh Saidashev lived

Musical talent Saidashev manifested itself early. The first instrument he began to play was harmonica . Then the relatives bought a piano for him. His first teacher was a folk musician Zagidulla Yarullin , and then prominent teachers of the Kazan Music College. Father S. Saydashev died without having seen his son. Salih was brought up in the family of a sister, whose husband Shigab Akhmerov belonged to the progressive circles of the Tatar intelligentsia.

In 1918, a young musician organizes an orchestra . In 1920, he volunteered to join the Red Army , after demobilization he worked in the music school of Orenburg .

In 1922, Saidashev returned to Kazan and at the Tatar State Academic Drama Theater. G. Kamala begins his activities as a conductor and musical director. Saydashev’s creative activity is expanding widely: musical compositions for dramas appear one after another: “Galiyaban” by M. Fayzi, “Il” (“Homeland”), “On Kandra”, “Blue Shawl” by K. Tinchurin , “Mercenary” by T. Gizzat and others. Saidashev continued the traditions of the new genre laid down by S. Gabyashi in the Tatar theater art, called the musical drama.

In those same years, he wrote the famous “March of the Soviet Army”, is actively working on the creation of new and new musical works in various genres, acts as a pianist and conductor at numerous concerts .

In 1934 - 1938 S. Saydashev is studying at the Tatar Opera Studio in Moscow. Returning from Moscow, he continues to work at TGAT them. Galiaskara Kamala , works on the creation of new works, writes music for performances.

Salikh Saydashev is considered the founder of Tatar professional music. At a truly professional and high creative level, Saydashev summarized, summarized the experience of the first folk composers, managed to organically combine the centuries-old traditions of the people with the experience of European music, with folklore and create on this basis a truly national and professional art.

Salikh Zamaletdinovich Saydashev is buried in the Tatar cemetery of the Novo-Tatar settlement of Kazan .

Memory

On June 25, 1993, by Decree of the Council of Ministers of the TASSR No. 413 of November 23, 1988, the S. Saydashev Museum was opened in Kazan [1] . The museum occupies a 2-story building built in the early 20th century, in one of the apartments of which S. Saydashev lived.

In 2000, the name of Saydashev was given to the reconstructed State Great Concert Hall in Kazan.

In 2005, in Kazan, opposite the Kamala Theater , a monument to Saydashev was erected on the site in front of the Tatar State Humanitarian Pedagogical University .

His name is street in the Vakhitovsky district of Kazan.
