Roslyakovo is a residential area of the city of Murmansk (until 2015, an urban-type settlement). The population is 8928 [1] people. (2014).

Geography
Located on the east coast of the Kola Bay , 10 km from the city center and 8 km from the center of Severomorsk .
History
The settlement on the site of Roslyakov has been known since 1896 . [2] In 1959 it was transformed into an urban-type settlement. In 1991, the Orthodox Church of the Archangel Michael was opened in the village [3] .
In 2002 - 2003, in the floating ship PD-50 , the Kursk nuclear submarine was spent in Roslyakovo [4] .
On September 1, 2014, Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 603 was issued on the separation of the urban-type Roslyakovo from the closed city of Severomorsk from January 1, 2015 and the inclusion of the city of Murmansk in the urban district [5] .
On January 1, 2015, the laws of the Murmansk Region No. 1812-01-ZMO “On the Abolition of the Settlement of the Murmansk Region and on Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Murmansk Region” and No. 1813-01-ZMO “On Amending the Laws“ On Approval the boundaries of municipalities of the Murmansk region ”and“ On the approval of the boundaries of the administrative-territorial unit of the city of Murmansk. ”These documents abolish the urban village of Roslyakovo in connection with its accession to the city of Murmansk and make changes to the description of the borders administrative-territorial unit city of Murmansk [6] .
On January 12, 2015, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree according to which it is planned to implement an investment project of Rosneft in creating Roslyakov’s territory to create a modern Arctic supply base.
On October 30, 2018 in Roslyakovo, at the 82nd shipyard , the floating dock PD-50 sank, in which the aircraft-carrying cruiser Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Kuznetsov was located [7] [8] .

The population living on the territory of Roslyakov, according to the 2010 All-Russian Population Census , is 8696 people, of which 4077 are men (46.9%) and 4619 are women (53.1%) [18] [19] .
Heraldry
On December 25, 1990, the emblem of the village was approved. The coat of arms is written by Alexander Borisovich Khrustalyov. The emblem is made on the French heraldic shield of red color with a blue wavy tip. In the center of the shield are a gold anchor and a gold wrench . In the free part of the shield on a blue field there is a golden northern lights and fish . Anchor and wrench symbolize the ship repair industry - the main industry of the village. The azure tip of the shield explains that the village is located on the shore of the Kola Bay. The red field is the labor tradition of the village. In the free part of the shield are elements of the coat of arms of Murmansk , indicating the location of the village in the Murmansk region. [20]
Education
In the microdistrict there are secondary schools No. 3, No. 4, Murmansk Industrial College No. 19 and a children's art school.
