Khasan Makharbekovich Baroev ( Osset. Broyty Makharbedzhi firt Khasan ; born December 1, 1982 , Dushanbe ) is a Russian Greco-Roman wrestler , Olympic champion in 2004 , two-time world champion and two-time European champion, Honored Master of Sports of Russia . Minister for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the North Ossetia-Alania .

Biography

Born December 1, 1982 in the city of Dushanbe, Tajik SSR in a family of Ossetian origin .

Parents come from the village of Zamankul, the right-bank region of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania . In 1992, the family repatriated from Tajikistan to Russia, settling in Vladikavkaz.

He began training from the age of 13 with famous masters, in particular, Honored Master of Sports Vladimir Uruimagov. He played for the Torpedo team of North Ossetia-Alania, the SKA Rostov club.

In the national team of Russia since 2000 . Represented by the Dynamo Society.

Married. Currently lives in Moscow. In 2016, the International Olympic Committee was deprived of the silver medal of the 2008 Olympic Games for the use of turinabol [1]
