Story

Homer and his family go on a corporate picnic at the boss’s estate. A brutal and tyrannical boss, Montgomery Burns dismisses those workers whose family members do not enjoy the party with him. Homer sees that Burns really likes families in which peace and love reign. And he wonders why he has been punished by such a quarreling and unhappy family. A catastrophe happened: Bart strangles a swan, Lisa drinks water from a fountain, Marge gets drunk and chants. And in the bag-sacking competition, Bart almost won, although he knew that “by the rules” Mr. Burns should always win in this race.

The Simpsons keep an eye on other families on their street, peeping through the windows of their houses, and they see happy, kind faces. But the man from the second house saw them and ran out with a gun into the street. Soon, a sad Homer ended up in the Mo Tavern , where he saw an advertisement for Dr. Marvin Monroe 's Family Therapy. The doctor guaranteed: "A happy family or a double refund." To pay for the services of the Monroe Clinic , the reassured Homer spent all the money (even the money deferred for children to go to college) and laid down the TV.

When the usual methods did not help, Monroe was forced to resort to shock therapy, connecting the Simpsons with electric wires. Family members continuously shock each other, which leads to network congestion and power outages throughout the city. Marvin Monroe has to, in accordance with television advertising, return money to Homer in double size. Having received five hundred dollars, the joyful Simpsons go to buy a new TV.
