In literature
The protagonist of Jerome D. Salinger 's novel “The Catcher in the Rye ”, Holden Caulfield is not very good at acting. “They behave on stage completely unlike people.” As an example, Holden leads Lawrence Olivier’s play in Hamlet [1] .
I do not understand what is special about this Lawrence Olivier. His voice is stunning, and he is handsome to hell, and it is pleasant to look at him when he walks or fights a duel, but he was not at all what Hamlet should be, according to D. B. He was more like some general than such an odd little bit crazy.
