Bobby Bonds ( born Bobby Bonds ; March 15, 1946 , Riverside (California) - August 23, 2003 , San Carlos ) is a former professional baseball player , outfielder . In Major League Baseball, he made his debut on June 25, 1968 for the San Francisco Giants . He also played for the teams New York Yankees , California Angels , Chicago White Sox , Texas Rangers , Cleveland Indiana , St. Louis Cardinals , Chicago Cubs . In total, he played 14 seasons in Major League Baseball. He played the last game on October 4, 1981 .
