Biography
Yuri Sergeyevich Timoshenkov was born on May 11, 1965 in Sevastopol . In 1986 - 1988, he was together with Igor Sid and Boris Babushkin the editor of the Crimean samizdat literary magazine Syntagma. In 1983 - 1988, along with Andrei Polyakov and Igor Sid, he was an active participant in literary seminars held in Simferopol under the leadership of Alexander Tkachenko , later director of the Russian PEN Center . In the late 80s and early 90s he published several literary translations, taking part in the work on the science fiction almanac “ ZET ” ( 1992 ), Dnepropetrovsk - Sevastopol edited by Sergei Berezhniy . He changed many professions, at different times he worked as an import manager, designer, marketer , political strategist , taught conversational English . Since 2005 - a professional screenwriter.
