In June 1933, Camilla Krushelnitskaya and members of her circle were arrested on charges of creating a counter-revolutionary monarchist terrorist organization. One of the participants of the group after continuous interrogations, which lasted four days, testified that under the influence of Camilla Krushelnitskaya she intended to commit a terrorist act. At the same time, Krushelnitskaya kept firmly on interrogation, did not recognize the guilt. Said the investigator:
I consider myself an opponent of the Soviet system. The main crucial moment is the absence of civil liberties in Soviet Russia ... I, as a believer, believe that in Soviet Russia one cannot openly profess one’s faith. The church of various directions is persecuted, the best children of the Church are repressed.
