Biography
Born on December 5, 1962 in the city of Frunze of the Kyrgyz SSR (now the city of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan ).
In 1985 he graduated from the Higher Naval School of Diving (VVMUPP) named after Lenin Komsomol in the city of Leningrad (since 1991 - St. Petersburg ) with a degree in mine-torpedo armament of submarines.
At the end, VMMUPP served on the strategic missile submarine cruisers of the Pacific Fleet, and then on submarines of the special purpose of the Northern Fleet.
Since 1990, he served in military unit No. 45707 in the city of Petrodvorets (since 1997 - Peterhof ). This unit, subordinated to the Main Directorate of Deep-Water Research of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and consisting of a detachment of submariners (hydronauts) and the 15th Central Research Laboratory, is engaged in testing and operating deep-sea technical equipment in various parts of the World Ocean. During the service, he took part in special events in all fleets of the Russian Federation. In 2003, he graduated from the Admiral Navy Academy of the Soviet Union N.G. Kuznetsov in St. Petersburg.
By a decree of the President of the Russian Federation (“closed”) dated December 6, 2013, for the courage and heroism shown during the performance of a special task, Evgeny Alekseevich Bobrov, captain of the 1st rank, was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation with the award of a special distinction - the Golden Star medal.
