Career
She started boxing in 2004, coached by her father Tony Broadhurst at the Dandalk boxing club. They later moved to the Islington English boxing club. Her brothers Paul and Stephen are also amateur boxers. Amy Broadhurst is a record holder with 17 championship titles. In 2018, she became the first adult champion of England.
At the 2018 World Cup , which was held in India, in the category up to 64 kg, she lost in the quarterfinal to the Indian athlete Simrangit Butt [1] .
At the European Boxing Championship in Spain in 2019 in the weight category up to 60 kg, she managed to get to the semifinal match, in which she lost to the titled rival from Finland Mire Potkonen and became the bronze medalist of the European Championship.
In Ulan-Ude, at the 2019 world championship , she performed in the weight category up to 60 kg, reached the quarter finals, in which she again lost to the Finnish athlete Mire Potkonen.
