Biography
Born on September 20, 1945 in the village of Dar-Dar of the Falgarsky District (now the Aini District) of the Leninabad Region (now the Sogd Region) (former Leninabad Region) of the Tajik SSR . Father - Keldi Mirzoyev (born in 1906), mother - Lola Mirzoyeva (born in 1906).
In 1966 he graduated from the faculty of literature and language of the Tajik State University in Dushanbe . Immediately after graduation, he began working as a correspondent, and later as deputy editor- in -chief of the youth newspaper Komsomoli Tojikiston (Komsomol of Tajikistan). In 1968, Keldiev became a member of the Union of Journalists of the Tajik SSR. In 1973 he moved to the position of deputy department of the literary magazine "Sadoi Shark" ("Voice of the East"). In 1975-1977, the translator of Soviet specialists in Afghanistan . In 1977 he returned to work in the literary magazine "Sadoi Shark". He worked as a head of the journal department until 1991.
From 1991 to the present, he is the editor-in-chief of the weekly Adabiyot va Sanat (Literature and Art). In parallel with the work of a journalist, writes poetry. His first published creative work was a collection of poems in the Tajik language: "Rasmi Sarbozi" ("Self-Sacrifice"), published in 1969. This was followed by collections of poems in the Tajik language: "Dastarkhon" (1972), "Nardbon" (1975), "Agba" (1978), "Pakhno" (1981), "Langar" (1983), "Pay Daryo" (1985) , Chashmi Nigin (1988), Tabhola (1992); in Russian: “Star of Ulugbek” (1981) and “Nameless Spring” (1986), published by the Soviet Writer Publishing House, as well as “The Shadow of a Mulberry Tree” (1989), published in Dushanbe. In 1988, a collection of poems on Persian graphics, Takhti Rustam, was published in Dushanbe. In 1973, he became a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR and Tajikistan. Keldiev translated books of poems by Marina Tsvetaeva , Rimma Kazakova , Mikhail Svetlov , Robert Rozhdestvensky , Nikolai Gumilyov , as well as some poems and poems by Yuri Lermontov into Tajik. As a result of a long contest held in Tajikistan, the anthem of Keldiyev (1994) became the anthem of the State of Tajikistan. He is also the author of the Tajik national anthem (1996). A confirmation of the versatility of the poet's work was the writing of two plays by him. The first of them, “Mansuri Hallaj”, is about a man who, in the 10th century, came to the square and said: “I am God myself!” And was brutally killed. The second - “Itto Gazzali” - is dedicated to the famous clergy scholar, who won the disputes Khayyam , Farabi , Nizamulka. The poet's work was awarded the Leninsky Komsomol Prize of Tajikistan (1985), the Tursun-Zade Prize (1991), and the work on the national anthem was awarded to the Rudaki State Prize (1994). In 1995 he was awarded the honorary title of People's Poet of Tajikistan.
