Career
Robert Dagger was born July 3, 1995 in Tucson, Arizona. After leaving school, he entered Sisko Elementary College, and then transferred to Texas Tech . In the 2016 Major League Baseball Draft, the Seattle Mariners Club selected it under a 537 number. [1]
Dagger spent the 2016 season with the Arizona Mariners and the Everett Aqua Sox . After playing six games as a starting pitcher, he won two victories in one defeat with a transmittance of 5.47. In 2017, Robert took part in thirty-one games for Clinton Lamberts Kings and Modesto Nuts . He finished the championship with six wins and six losses with an ERA of 2.75. During the season, he was included in the team of stars of the Midwest League. On December 7, 2017, Dagger and two other Mariners players joined the Miami Marlins in exchange for Dee Gordon [1] .
In the season of 2018, he played for Jupiter Hammerheads and Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp [1] . Robert also began the year 2019 at Jacksonville, and then was transferred to the New Orleans Baby Cakes AAA League team. In early August, he was first called up to the Marlins first team and made his debut in Major League Baseball in a away match against the New York Mets . [2]
