Jianli ( Chinese р 利 , pinyin : Jiànlì ) is a county in the Jingzhou city district of Hubei Province ( PRC ).

History
During the Han Empire, Huazhong (() County was created. After Sun Quan proclaimed himself emperor of Wu State in 222, Jianli County was isolated from Huazhong County. During the empire of Song in 965, Yuisha (玉 沙县) county was isolated from Jianli County, but in 1078 it was rejoined to Jianli County.
Jingzhou Special District (荆州 район) was established in 1949, and the county became part of it. In 1970, Jingzhou Special District was renamed Jingzhou County (荆州 地区).
In 1994, by the decision of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Jingzhou County was transformed into an urban district.
