Club career
Gokhan Akkan started playing football at the Toroslar Belediyespor club, and in 2011 he joined the Mersin Idmanyurdu team. On April 3, 2016, he made his debut for her in the Turkish Super League , coming on as a substitute in the away match against the Istanbul Bashaksehir club [2] . A month and a half later, Akkan scored his first goal at the highest level, noting in a home match with Bursaspor [3] . “Mersin Idmanyurdu”, following the results of that season, flew to the First League, and a year later - to the Second.
In early 2018, Gokhan Akkan joined the Super League club Yeni Malatyaspor . He spent the second half of the season 2018/2019 on loan for the team of the First League “ Elazigspor ”.
