Master of Theology, was a professor in Paris , in 1402 by the German ambassador to Tamerlane , then the chancellor and rector of the academy in Prague . Appointed bishop of Worms , Cracow received from Pope Gregory XII the title of Cardinal, which Matthew refused. His writings: “Mathei de Cracovia de arte moriendi liber” (Cologne and Harlem, 1440 ; Krakow, 1533 ); “Utrum ducat sacerdotes continuare Missas” (Memming, 1401 ).
