Chairman of the Government of Bavaria in the years 1890-1903. In 1901 he received the title of count.

Biography
Frederick Kraft von Crailsheim is a representative of the noble family of Crailsheim, son of Senior Lieutenant of the Bavarian Army Richard von Crailsheim, and his wife Sabina, nee von Zumpf. Frederick Kraft had two older sisters, Julia and Laura. Father Richard von Crailsheim died when the boy was not even two years old.
Friedrich Kraft von Crailsheim studied at the Ansbach Gymnasium and in 1858 graduated from it as the best student. He studied at the University of Erlangen , then moved to the University of Leipzig and later to the University of Zurich . The first state exam for a lawyer successfully passed in Erlangen in 1862. In the same year he married Baroness Louise von Lindenfels.
In 1870, Crailsheim joined the Bavarian Ministry of Commerce. From January 1, 1872, he served in the ministry of the royal house and foreign relations, where he made a rapid career. In 1880, Friedrich Kraft von Crailsheim was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bavaria [2] . In 1890 he replaced the deceased Johann von Lutz as chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bavaria. Together with Lutz, Crailsheim played a significant role in the abdication of King Ludwig II, and during that time he lost his freedom for some time. Crailsheim served as adviser to the Prince Regent of Bavaria Luitpold .
